As a result of advertising on BBC World , awareness of PAIiIZ grew to 43% - an impressive result in such a short period of time for a new advertiser on the channel.**

BBC World News has an extensive portfolio of advertisers and has been the exclusive broadcast partner for events such as the International Hotel and Restaurant Association, International Air Travel Association, Tourcomm Africa and the World Travel and Tourism Council.

The channel has also developed creative sponsorship packages and innovative strategies to help raise brand profile and attract global consumers. Bespoke campaigns range from spot advertising and launch events, to sponsorship opportunities and specialised research projects.

In 2005,BBC World News was voted as the leading television channel for travellers in the World Travel Awards and the channel’s popular travel programme, FASTtrack was voted best television feature of the year by the British Guild of Travel Writers. The Slovakia Tourist Board was established in the interest of the successful presentation of tourism in Slovakia on the international tourism market. This organization was established by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak as a governmental organization.

The strategic goals of the Slovak Tourist Board:
